Christkindlmarket in Saline at the Farmer's market location (Ann Arbor Saline Road and Michigan Avenue) on December 1st from 10 am - 9 pm.
It will feature artisans and vendors selling wooden toys, gifts, German linens, and a wide range of seasonal decorative items for purchase. There will also be day-long entertainment from local musical groups, a real calliope, and an appearance from St. Nicholas.
Bratwurst, Weisswurst and other German fare will be available for the hungry. And for the adults, a Glühwein* tent (*hot spiced wine) will serve up the traditional hot German Christmas wine to ward off the cold.
Kids will be able to craft lanterns and join the Saline-Lindenberg Friendship Committee in the Holiday Parade
